Water Filter
A whole-house water filter removes sediment and contaminants from the main supply before water reaches fixtures and appliances. Keeping the cartridge fresh maintains pressure and prevents captured material from re-entering the water.
Water Filter Tasks
- Replace whole-house water filter cartridge
Every six months, shut off the inlet valve, swap in a matching replacement cartridge, and lubricate the O-ring before reassembling the housing.
