Does Stu work without an internet connection?
Yes. Stu works entirely offline. All your home data is stored locally on your iPhone and the app does not require a network connection to function.
What data does Stu collect?
None. Stu does not collect, upload, or share any personal information. There are no analytics SDKs in the app. What you enter stays on your device.
What kinds of tasks does Stu include?
Stu generates recurring maintenance tasks for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, appliances, exterior, and seasonal systems. Tasks are based on your home profile and are tailored to what you have. You can also add your own custom tasks.
Does Stu tell me how to do the tasks?
No. Stu helps you know what to do and when, but does not provide instructional guidance. It is a system of record, not a how-to resource. For how-to guidance, a quick search or a contractor will serve you better.
Is Stu available on Android or iPad?
Stu v0 is iPhone only. Android and iPad are not currently supported.
Can I export my data?
Not in the current version. Data export is planned for a future update. Your data is stored in a standard format on your device.
