The dishwasher handles daily dish cleaning by cycling water through spray arms and a drain system. Keeping the filter clear and the interior clean prevents food buildup, odors, and poor wash results.
Dishwasher Tasks
- Clean dishwasher filter
Every three months, twist out the filter from the bottom of the dishwasher tub, rinse it under running water, and scrub gently if needed.
- Run dishwasher cleaning cycle
Once a month, run an empty hot cycle with a dishwasher cleaner tablet or a cup of white vinegar on the top rack, then wipe the door seal.
