Why It Matters

Mineral buildup clogs the panel, dropping humidity output and forcing more water through. A stuck panel can also cause leaks.

Materials

  • Replacement water panel (matched to the model number on the humidifier housing)

How to Do It

  1. Locate the model number on the humidifier housing and purchase a matching replacement water panel before you begin.
  2. Shut off the water supply line to the humidifier.
  3. Move the bypass damper to the closed (bypass) position.
  4. Open the humidifier cover and slide out the old water panel.
  5. Slide the new panel into the frame in the same orientation as the old one.
  6. Close the cover, reopen the bypass damper, and turn the water supply back on.
