Exterior

The exterior is your home's first line against water, wind, and temperature. Siding, roofing, windows, doors, gutters, and the foundation work together to keep moisture out and conditioned air in. When one piece fails, the damage rarely stays contained: a clogged gutter sends water behind siding, a cracked caulk joint lets rot into a door frame, and a neglected roof can turn a small leak into a ceiling replacement.

Steady upkeep here is mostly inspection and small interventions: recaulking a seam, cleaning debris from downspouts, resealing a deck before the finish wears through. The work is seasonal and incremental, and catching problems early keeps them from compounding into structural repairs.
